Question Acer Aspire One - can you have a better laptop?

The Acer Aspire one what a great laptop, but what if there is a better one? i really need a laptop for school and this one just seems perfect!!! it is small and just fits in every bag, it got a webcam and the hdd is also something about 120gb! my question is that are there any better laptops for school?

For the money its a really good deal, you can find it at WalMart for less then $350. When I first saw it, I fell in love. I guess the only downside is the battery life is kinda medeocer at best.....buts still a good lappy...

If you want to go Dell, the Mini 9 is also a viable option.

The Acer Aspire One totally rocks as a Uni laptop/netbook, i've just swapped from using my main laptop, shown below (ishii) to carrying my little aspire one around. Its so small light, and yet powerful, battery life is about 3 hours (i have the SSD linux version). Only hassles i had was running a VPN in Linux, but that's an OS problem rather than the hardware.
I'd highly recommend anyone who needs a computer for school to get one of these ickle wonders

cheers Oz

I have one of these aspires. Bought it from walmart. I think it's fantastic, I find myself using it a lot. I keep going back and forth on OS's. Putting XP back on it at this very moment actually! I've been using gOS, which I recommend, it's based off of Ubuntu (but what isn't these days) and designed with netbooks in mind. You won't regret one of these.
