Hmm, I have a laptop with a 9600M GS and 3 desktops. E6300 + X1950Pro, E6750 + HD2600XT and E8400 + HD3850. All of them destroy the 9600M GS + T5800 in terms of gaming.

Yeah well naturally the desktops would, because the 9600M is a mobile version of the 9600, and therefore not as good. I don't really mind if it doesn't beat a desktop's performance, I just need it to play the game smoothly at medium/high settings.

That hp looks decent, I really like the Asus recommended a few post back if you can squeeze the cash.

Yeah ok, just wanted to point out how bad it is

Personally I would never use a laptop for gaming.

Yeah, that's fair enough, I wouldn't normally either but unfortunately it's not possible to afford both ><

And I would never hang out in your room. So I guess gaming will never be a part of our friendship and all.

I guess not, since the laptop will primarily be used for work.

I just purchased the Gateway 7805u from Bestbuy for $1050, it has the same specs as the 7801u from newegg. It runs Warhammer Online smooth at 1920x1200 reso full graphics.
