Okay, so i can use Ntune to overclock the nforce go 430. Processor is Turion tl 64 x2 2.2ghz. i can have a stable overclock at about 2.35ghz? (212 on the bus)
i cant turn up voltage in any way. any suggestions? BTW without the overclock it runs kinda hot, any programs that just might work so i can change fan speeds? (no it's not the heat not letting it overclock, i get a bsod sometimes!) Edit: actually i can over volt it from 1.125 to 1.175 but its not helping at all! My laptop is a dv9420us, if you know any programs or can bios mod that would be really helpful! Thanks for your help! here is the bios link! ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp40001-40500/sp40313.exe

Do not overvolt a laptop. If you must overvolt you should stop, undervolt laptops you should even do when OC'ing. Surprised can't do any better I used to get my TL52 from 1.6Ghz to 1.9Ghz. Yes these CPU's do run hot and remember each CPU has different individual OC/UV characteristics. What apps? I used Clockgen to OC TL I use setfsb on my Core 2. Undervolt rmclock and crystalcpuid.

Are you certain you are using the correct PLL? On mine several worked the only trick was when all clocks were read correct, say PCIe and the like? I am only aware of fan control for DeLL's. My AMD do could develop heat issues even when not OC running prime 95. Funny thing I have never got a BSOD OC or UV AMD or my Core 2. I get freezes and worse. What does the BSOD say?
