Default Did my laptop just die??

Firstly i would like to say it is not my sig rig that died.

My laptop is not turning on what so ever, no power light, nothing. Battery is charged and i tried turning it on while plugged into the wall and still nothing. Im thinking maybe the CMOS battery is dead?? Or is it all just dead??

Check the DC port, maybe the pin got loose and it's not making contact. It might also be the laptops PSU.

Even if the battery is fully charged?? I don't think it could be the DC port because the laptop was working all day, i came home from work and it didnt turn on anymore... Nothing...

Lulz, Laptops PSU?

It could be a couple of things, one the motherboard could be bad (Which is what I'm leaning towards), the power button board/circut board could be bad. What exact model is this laptop you are speaking of and maybe I can help you.

Yes it rarely happens, but does happen sometimes...

Loony try taking out the battery and boot up. If you still get nothing the mobo might be dead.

Might be a silly question but have you tried taking the battery out leaving it for 5mins and putting it back in?

Ive taken the battery out and tried booting it up. I've left the battery out and then put it back in. I think it's died from overheating.
