I'm looking to get a new laptop, at below the £1000 mark.
I'd be using it for gaming if possible as well as plenty of multimedia related use. Isn't much description here for what spec, but whatever you think you can suggest, thanks

What about an ultraportable with decent gaming capabilities? I've seen this HP dv2, AMD Neo 1.6GHz (sc) and Radeon 3450 discrete graphics in under 2kg, in euro-land it's 600€, probably something like 550£ in N. Ireland.
I see absolutely no point in spending more on a lappy... it's light (12" and 2kg), decent resolution, decent CPU (not some underpowered Atom) and most of all a discrete graphics card. Cheers, my

Portable is a good forte, as are the decent gaming abilities. I'm not looking for extreme gaming capabilities as I'm not a serious gamer, so this could be what I'm looking for I'm not really refining what I am looking for apart from the gaming abilities as i don't know much about laptops or netbooks. Thanks again : D
