Default Looking for a Laptop under $700...

Okay guys, here it goes:

I need a laptop that I can use for school and my parents can use at home, but I don't trust them going out and just buying one, since they have no clue what's good and what isn't.

I'm new to the whole laptop thing having only built/bought desktops, and was wondering if I could get some help finding the best laptop for under $700. I'm looking for something decently fast (doesn't need to be super fast, just fast enough to get things done), 4 gigs of ram, and a 250gb hard drive or larger.

It can come with Vista or XP, either is fine with me since I'll most likely upgrade it to Windows 7 anyway. I'm also looking for a decent sized screen and decent battery life, as I don't want to have to have it plugged in all the time. Any and all help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

That looks like a decent laptop for only $650, thanks for the link!

Anyone else have something to match/beat it? Thanks!
