Default up to speed on netbooks

I'm deploying in a few days and i will be getting a net book in addition to my full size laptop, I'm thinking of buying the Toshiba NB205 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218093382420 however i remember hearing something about the Intel ION... is that worth waiting for? what do you guys recommend for this price range? how does that Toshiba look?

An atom netbook won't be out tell the end of the year, maybe longer. That Toshiba netbook looks pretty decent. I own and would highly recommend the Asus EEE PC 1000HE. See my review in my sig if you want to learn more about it. The MSI wind can support a MAC OS X operating system and has good features, and I have heard good things about samsung models as well.

You have it backwards. Notebooks come with the celeron's, which includes the T and P series. All netbooks come with an atom chipset. The EEE series are netbooks.

I would personally go with a acer or msi netbook. Not as hard on the wallet and you get the same stuff.
