Default A/G/N or G

Can't decide between getting the wireless with Intel WiFi link A/G/N or will the 802.11 g card work? I am looking to use it on home networks/in hotels/ and in school.

Is it necessary to drop the extra $40 on the upgraded card?

You won't notice much a difference between G or N.

Ok, didn't know if there was a slow migration to N and the wireless would soon be outdated..

Probably is a slow migration to N, but most routers that run N also run G. Very few locations even have N. I think I'm at one of the only school with full campus N network tho

But its backwards compatible so if it did run N you could still run G but it would just be slower...
