Hi,
I am new to the forum. I have searched google and am computer literate, but I do have a few questions about overclocking. Here are some of my specs: (let me know if you need more) asus g50vt intel mobile core 2 duo p8400 @ 2.26ghz nvidia gforce 9800m gs intel pm45 chipset 1. I have been into bios and there is no option to set the multiplier. 2. Is there any third party software to set my multiplier? Thanks for any help |

As far as I know the only overclocking is done in windows by the Asus software. There are no options in the BIOS as you have already stated. Right now I dont know of any app that can do what you want.

setfsb works on my Asus (different model). But no you cannot change the multipliers with software other than down.

setfsb is not from Asus and there are others not from Asus. You should be able to OC just not with BIOS. You increase the fsb.
