Default how to build a killer laptop

just for warning this is the stuff of legends, in fact iam more legendary then still legendary. it starts out with this wonderful IBM Thinkpad 600e i paid alot for it back in 2003 i even took it to highschool and played half life one in software mode which was leet and watched dvds with my ex on it and they ran like crap. so one day i had it in its case in the back of my 66 mustang leaving school and a exaust header in the trunk rolled over and cracked the screen. so then it basically sat parted out somewhat in the closet, untel recently i got a dead 600x for free and i decided to swap the screen in the 600e, then i put in a monsterous 10 gig hard drive with 4200rpm screen and true to who i am its got a apple computer logo on the drive since it came from a mac so i know the quality aught to be top notch. then i installed windows 2000 with service pak 4 and rollback update, its so sucure and fast you wont believe it and with the linksys wireless g card internet is fast and it has firefox 2 wiht alll updates
then theres the dixon core 250 nanometer Pentium ][ processor with 256k on die full speed level 2 cache for superior performance, for video we got the neomagic 2.5meg card. now for prove of how powerful the system is. I loaded up the rigorous OCN chat room which requires alot of horsepower to run but the thinkpad had no problem thanks to its speedy pentium ][ well thats all for now look forward to futhure reviews and builds from my extreme systems.

also check out the enclosed pick of ocn chat

Depending on board in your lappy, you can probably upgrade your cpu to a 2400, 2500, or 2600XP-m
