I wouldn't recommend overclocking a netbook. Just for a heads up.
Not only do you void your warranty, you also risk it overheating like no other. Either get a faster chip, or get an extremely slow chip if you are only using it for internet browsing.

Dont worry about your english, I can understand your question just fine! As for OCing a netbook, I dont know if you can. I have seen a bios mod which runs the ASUS 1000H series in turbo mode, which puts the N280 at a slightly higher clock speed, but thats about all I've seen.

I agree, such a small enclosed unit will reach its temperature limits on stock clock speed.

Asus Eee PC can be OC'd using ClockGen or SetFSB... maybe with Ion support now, the newer HP310/311 business class netbook will have a supported PLL...we shall see..I'm getting my new one next month.

*I have HPmini now..currently not supported with SetFSB or ClockGen

The MSI Wind has a button on it for turbo mode or overclock from 1.6 to 1.9.

With the Asus EeePC series, it changes from model to model. Currently, I'm sitting at 2.0GHz on my N270 in my 1000H. I got here using a combination of eeectl and SetFSB. Eeectl gives you the ability to adjust fan speed to keep your teperatures down, as well as make a profile so you can change the clocks manually whenever you want, or based on whether the computer is plugged in or not.

I would suggest reading around on forum.eeeuser.com as that's where I get all of my information.

As you can see here, the N270 is highly overclockable.

Hovorím Nechcem get N280, nie je rýchlejší a oveľa viac v hotovosti

Hope that helps. I assume you speak Slovak, if not, muh bad.

I personally would not do it. I would look at a laptop rather then netbook if overclocking is that important to you. Plus I do not know how well those atoms would overclock to begin with. Mine is plenty fast with 2 gig ram, SSD and win7.
