if you click on the ? by the previously ordered new you will see that means, never been used by a customer, may have been turned on etc.... take a look...
I bought a Latitude D630 that was refurbished from the same site and it was in beautiful shape.... looked almost new..... i could barely tell that it had been used. And because i got a latitude (the business line) it came with a 3yr warranty.... It was mail in but since i'm certified on all the dell laptops, desktops, servers and storage equipment, i did a live chat and they said they could ship parts directly to me. (i wouldn't want anyone but me working on my laptop anyway...heh,heh).

Which model are you looking to buy? Duh... sorry.... the mini 10v .... looks like a good one... the mini 9's keyboard i didn't care for but the mini 10s look nice.....

For the price of those refurbs you could buy an Acer Aspire One brand new. It does have a slower CPU, but you get an 11" screen and a larger keyboard.

I have to agree that you can get some good deals on new laptops for similar prices. I prefer to go that route so that you do not need to worry about the quality of a refurbished unit.
