Default Laptop Broadband?

I don't know exactly how to phrase this so excuse me if it doesn't make any sense. I have a dell insprion 1514 laptop with 64bit windows vista and I'm using a wireless card to connect to the internet. Today I couldn't get online, so I call my customer service provider and they say that the card I have isn't compatible with my 64bit os. Is this true or is there not enough information provided on this post for a indefinite answer?

Yes more information would be needed on the particular wireless card you have. But I do have a question. Are you saying it was online before and working just fine and today stopped working for no apparent reason?
