I have already opened up the laptop and reapplied Arctic Silver 5 to the heatsink. The laptop is more then able to handle its full speed.

I've noticed no lag between going from low speed to full speed on my system. Why does it bother you that much. It doesn't make that much of a difference unless you're OCing (which is just dumb on a laptop).

I overclock my notebook and it's perfect.

Took my fsb from 200mhz to 260mhz with no probs.
