Default Nvidia ION

What kind of graphics performance will this give to the netbook market? Will it be higher than the 9300m that was in the N10J? I may just wait and get an ION netbook if it's better than a 9300.

The Ion is the 9300m 9400.

I believe Ion is based off of an atom and a 9400. So it should be ahead of the 9300, but I'm not sure by how much.

I also thought the Ion used something similar to a 9400...

Yeah, I read it was a 9400 chipset, or something along those lines. I may be wrong, but I saw the number 9400 in the review. I assume the 9400 is better than the 9300, and apparently the washington post reviewer was playing l4d on a 311-1000NR

Yeah I'm fairly sure of that... here's an article as evidence:
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...vidia-ion.html
There's also benchmarks and such in that review...so it should prove useful to OP.

you know after looking at the benchmarks posted, it doesnt like it would fair well as a gaming netbook, more like just for streaming hd and other regular work.

Is there any better alternative to this?
