Hi guys
I'm here requesting a little bit of help about laptop memory. My girlfriend (in picture) has an old laptop , and I want to upgrade her memory from 512MB to 2GB of RAM (no cash for buying a new one) I know her laptop supports DDR2 SoDIMM PC2-4200 533mhz memory and I'm planning in getting this Kingston 2GB stick : http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Techn.../ref=de_a_smtd.Would it be compatible with the 512mb stick the laptop has now? so paired up would get 2.5GB of RAM? I'm not sure because of the CAS latency on the Kingston stick says it's 3-3-3-8 here's a picture of the RAM information in Everest Ultimate ,thanks in advance guys :

should work as long as the laptop supports that large of a stick. look up the max memory allowable for the laptop's board.
