Well honestly, I was thinking about getting a preferred account to take advantage of the financing, but now that I hear this is their policy, I'm not going to.

I live at an apartment complex, so I have everything shipped to my office.

I got the account for the ease of it and until now it has been great. I probaly would not be this mad if they had not already let me do it twice, geez.

I actually think Newegg changed their policy regarding this lately.

I had some recent purchases shipped to my office rather than my home. They wouldn't ship it to my office because it wasn't my credit card billing address.

I have had things shipped to my office at least 4 or 5 times over the last 2 years with no problems from Newegg.

You could put the address on file with your credit card company. Whatever retailer you buy from should ship to a diff address if it's on record when checked against the card.

Did the same with my work address too, way easier to have things signed for when theres a loading dock and receiving dept.

Wow, seriously? Next time get it shipped to you yourself, then ship it where you need it to go.

Jeez.

I'm pretty sure this policy has been in effect for quite some time, in fact, they tell you at check-out via PayPal that the order will be void if it doesn't make your shipping address, so this is nobodies fault but your own for NOT READING.

Seriously, you guys who want to complain about this crap like this, read what you're doing beforehand and you won't have to complain!
