That's very odd.

I've never run into this problem before. My billing address is my parents', while my shipping address is my apartment in Merced, and I was able to ship my 24" monitor and the case for my home server with no problems whatsoever.

I made tons of purchases like this less than a year ago while I was still in college. What do they expect people like that to do, get a new account in town because they're being picky? That's dumb. Time to look into Tiger Direct like I did before I knew about Newegg.

well i tried another csr at newegg and this one was even worse than the first, i explained that i have done this before and he said this was not possible, i told him to check my history, he told me he would not because it is not possible, i asked him what we could do ( you know , go that extra mile)
he said it was not possible and click dead air

their customer support really sucks, shame i really liked this store

Their customer support doesn't suck, the banks want them to do this to prevent fraud. If their policy changed, chances are they got in trouble or yelled at by a bank.
