Default newegg has chapped my a**
i was trying to buy my wife this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...L0A-_-34115654

now here is what has upset me, i placed my order through my preferred account and was told i was denied, so i called and was told that because the shipping adress was not the same as the billing adress that i could not buy the laptop.this is or was going to be a christmas present so i was shipping it to my mothers house but newegg said that was not there policy, now in july i shipped a screen to a coworkers house, in august i shipped a gps to my inlaws.but now its their policy? wth!!!!! the csr was about as helpful as a pimple on my d**K!!
has anybody run into this ??

Same here. I was told that the transaction could not be completed because my shipping and billing address does not match, so i ended up just ship the item to my billing address and ship the item myself.

+1 Just get it sent to your house, then ship it wherever it needs to go. Had the same problem.

her day did not get any better, she sent me a survey to my email right after we got off the phone and i was not kind, it asked me if the rep went the extra mile( lol) i said NO!!!!!!!

This happened to me too. They won't budge from their policy. When I was having Cyberdruid assemble the Glowfall, I had to order the parts to me, then ship to him rather than them just drop shipping to him to begin with. Totally chapped my ass too, same scenario with NewEgg preferred. You are not alone.

personally, i hate newegg's customer service. It's the reason i only use TigerDirect (and that i live so close to tiger's shipping facility i get my stuff in 1 day with ground shipping lol)
