Default ASUS K61IC-X1 or N51Vn-X1A

I'm not sure which laptop I should get... The ASUS K61IC-X1 is 800 while the ASUS N51 Series N51Vn-X1A is 950. I'd rather get the cheaper K61IC since its 800, but the N51Vn has a P8700 2.53G while the K61IC has a Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2G and the N51Vn has a GT 240M graphic card while the K61IC has a GT 220M. Is it worth paying the extra 150 dollars for the N51Vn?

up to you. If gaming then yes, if not or non-intensively then go for the cheaper. The gt 240m isn't very powerful and same goes for the gt 220m but they should both handle games like tf2 and l4d just great. I like the n51 since it has better overall specs (the p8700) is really nice.

Yeah, don't game much. I only do the occasional W3C. I should of said I don't game much in my first post. I just like the n51 because of the p8700 mostly.

well then its up to you. I bought a p8600 off a guy for my lappy but he sent me a sp9400 so it kept crashing work but, they are great chips and only use about 25w. The t6600 uses 35w, so you would get a little better battery life from the n51.
