Default Which netbook (3choices)

Im going to keep this short and sweet.
Needs: -portability
-Battery life
-best keyboard/pointing device from the 3

All other features are roughly the same with these models.
What would you pick?
Anyone's feedback is greatly appreciated.

There's the HP Mini 311, the Asus n10 series, the Asus T91 (has a touchscreen), and you might take a look at the IdeaPad S12. What's your price range?

Edit: sorry, didn't see you had posted choices

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA-P without a shadow of a doubt. I put 2GB of RAM, a cheap SSD and Windows 7 on mine and it runs like a champ for what I use it for.

yeah i really like the 1005 also because it has more of a sleek chassis when compared to the 1000HE but i was wondering if they're the same size? because the 1005 looks stretched out when compared to pictures of the 1000HE.

to answer an above question. My range is 500 without tax. So if the advertised price is 499 its no prob. (Canadian pricing)

If you have the cash to spend i would definitely look at getting the Hp 311 the screen is a tad bit bigger than the 1005ha/he. It also has a dedicated video card capable of 720 if you run with hardware acceleration one.

the hp 311 is around 400~ no including tax.

But the 1005 is also a great option and is a big plus for battery life.

Both netbook will break the 5 hour mark runing dvd's and movies unless you are running 720p files.

So if you want more flexibility graphics wise get the hp 311. with a 11"inch screen

great battery life and pretty cheap price asus eee 1005.

But to answer your question the 1000 and 1005 are the same size. both ten inch screens with 1024x600 resolution. But the 1005 is what you probbly want to go for
