New to Overclock.net

Better Netbooks?
I'm looking into buying a netbook for school, and my requirements are windows 7 and 2 GB of memory. Right now, my main choice is the Acer Aspire AS1410-2039. Do you think that a better model will come out between now and Christmas, because I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy it now. Thanks!

Check out the ideapad s12. It's got the nvidia ion proc/gpu which is the 9400m equivalent. Probably could do some gaming on it. It's 550 over at newegg, so that's a little steep for a netbook. What's your price range?

i thought they werent going to make a dual core for the atom. because it would defeat the purpose of having a energy efficient CPU.
but i welcome it. also with 64bit ur going to need to find a netbook with 2 slots. so u can get 2 X 2gig.

tis what I'm going to get when I sell my netbook and my huge older laptop. I'm a performance nut, this fits the bill quite well.
