I dont know that I would waste cash on it, but it seems to be a good deal. I just cannot imagine it is worth it. I imagine lots of heating and other issues. :/

I'd probably invest a little bit more on an Asus G51J-A1 system and get full 1080p display and a better graphics card... and 2x320GB HDDs =P But I intend on gaming on a laptop.

I decided not to get it...but the Asus would be a little out of my price range, as this one was a stretch at best, It wouldn't be for a main gaming system as a have my sig rig for that, could just use a nice laptop that can play some games(graphics quality isn't particularly important, something that can run TF2 at a decent fps would be fine) and with good battery life an portable...any suggestions for one under 1000?

Just picked up a gateway FX series laptop for 999 from tigerdirect. They are sold out now, but you can for sure pick one up elsewhere for a similar price. I would recommend it for sure. I have only had it a few days, but everything seems to be going well.

I had a gateway FX series a few months ago(this is sort of a replacement). I now hate gateway because of that. The thing had to be sent into warranty 3 times in under a year. It continuously overheated and would slow down all the time. I think im probably not going to ever get one of those again :P

Oh damn. I have pushed this thing pretty hard and it has held just as much ground as I had expected if not more. I was even able to do some game mapping with it with no issues. :/
