Default Great little app to increase battery life in Windows Vista and 7!

I just found this today. Anyways, it automatically turns Aero off on battery, and back on with AC power without needing to change anything.

It is designed for Vista, but I have confirmed it working with Windows 7. Drag the .exe into your Startup folder in the start menu, run the app, and in the taskbar, right click the app to enable (it should automatically save the enabled setting once you do it the first time).

Anyways, it is a great way to increase some battery life on your Windows Vista or 7 netbook or notebook. If you don't like it, just remove it from the startup folder and close the program, there is no installation at all.

In no way am I claiming this app as my own, just sharing what I found.

Just basically adjusts Aero automatically on battery and AC power... Any benchmark of this would show you the thing.

Anyways, I just found it like 10 mins ago, thought it was a neat app to share...

In the power management settings for 7, this sort of thing already exists. I know because I just adjusted the power management on my netbook and this was in there.

Yea, Windows 7 already has this (I only know because my netbook does it, as well as throttles down the Max CPU clock to your choosing).
