Default Looking for a cheap laptop

Hey. My gf is looking to get a cheap laptop for surfing the net, playing music, and playing some WoW. I have no idea where to look or what to look for. Please help me out and point me in the right direction. We have a budget of $600.

Thank you for your help.

It's really hard to find a laptop in that range that can play WoW. Try this one from Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834157061
It's $50 over your budget, but at least it comes with a dedicated graphics card. However, the graphics card is underclocked, so you don't get the max performance from that card.

ok thanks. Not a bad laptop. What if I bump the budget up to $800? I could probably do that with working a little overtime.

The HP Pavilion dv7t is priced at $800 (except shipping costs extra), but has a dedicated graphics card and play WoW fine. You can find discount codes online if you can find them. You might as well look for a used or refurbished laptop on eBay. Sometimes they have great deals (not often).

Any notebook can play wow.

I would suggest getting an inspiron 15, right now dell has some great deals around $600 if you upgrade to a dedicated GPU.

for $549:

Intel® Pentium® Dual Core T4300 (2.1GHz/800Mhz FSB/1MB cache)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Microsoft® Works 9
1 Yr Ltd Hardware Warranty, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis -
McAfee SecurityCenter, 15-Months
3GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 800MHz
250GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
256MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330
8X CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)
6-cell battery
Dell Wireless 1397 802.11g Half Mini-Card
High Definition Audio 2.0
Jet Black

That's your best bet right there.

That one would be like perfect. Processor's decent, GPUs good enough for WOW. By the way, what screen size are you looking at?
