So my friend needs me to install windows 7 on her netbook. the netbook doesn't have a CD Drive, and neither of us have an external DVD drive. Is there a way i can install it without a CD? Im guessing with a USB key, but how?
also, is it a good idea to install windows 7 ultimate x32 a Atom N270 netbook?

Windows 7 Home Premium is not like Vista Home Premium. I mean, it's actually a premium operating system this time.
![]() Here are 3 comparison charts that I want you to study carefully:

home premium is best tbh - it really is all the OS most people will need
i installed Pro thinking i could use XP mode but the Atom in this thing is not capable of VT. also, if you're going to install 7, get another GB of ram. it really helps.
