Default notebook monitor?

can i use my notebook as a monitor for a desktop computer? Meaning i wanna plug a desktop system to my notebook and use it as a monitor.

Well, if it is possible at all its probably not worth it. You might be able to take the connection from the motherboard to the notebook monitor, but it won't be a standard layout of pins and i don't think it even uses the same type of connection.

However you could use a video capture card and connect your desktop to that.
