I have a Toshiba Satellite M45-S169 and it has 512Mb DDR 333. This is not good enough. I need to know the Max Ram speed that I can upgrade to. I am going to put 2 gigs of it in my lap. I don't think DDR 333 is the highest speed of Ram it handle. I am kind of obsessed with speed and multitasking so...

Well i jsut looked, and i think 2gb is overkill. 2gb with a 1.6ghz celly isnt going to give too much of a difference, because the processor will struggle to run so many apps at once anyways.
Edit: Hehe, you have 69 posts. :P

I think you could probably put ddr400 ram in the laptop, but I'm not sure if it would actually run at ddr400 speed. You could check toshiba's website maybe for an updated bios to support ddr400 ram? I've read that Acer came out with a new bios for their ferrari line of notebooks to support ddr400 ram.
