People are just looking for the best deal and since yours is used I see no reason for you to complain about people asking for less than $400. Item value depreciations as soon as you buy it. You should put that into your "business math".

i had to RMA my board cause didnt wana play nice with my 8800 ,some was wrong with bios so i dont wna risk having the sam issue and yes iknow is a great price for the 4870x2

With the fact that I've had on and off setbacks, what with transferring my case to a new case, having difficulties installing the 4870X2 on my Nvidia supporting board to get it to boot, which it fired up regardless of whether or not I posted or not until I configured RAM and CMOS correctly, drivers, etc., the card hasn't seen much run time. I got it 5 days ago and don't want it. Literally, last Thursday, I got it from gamepyre.com's HQ in CA. I call it an impulse buy. An engineering sample should be coveted anyways. They're usually the alpha builds that have the best chipsets on them to impress the audience with a good thrill. Don't believe me, check out any website that demos it. It's A-spec or better that you see, and don't get me started on its overclocking potential... Holy Crap. Not only that, but I'm sure the parent company of a GPU maker wouldn't contest an RMA on a prototype card, unless they're idiots, because I'd want one of the cards that made me money back in my possession. And don't give me that crap about depreciation, if it works, and in this case is rare, you don't shave 40% off something and call that a bargain. I'm not an idiot, myself. And if you don't have truly constructive things to say about my FS thread, other than to contest my sale practices, be gone and troll elsewhere.

Update Edit: BTW, I've contacted Palit about this. No, not about the thread. About the card I currently own. It appears they're interested in the card. This might not be on sale much longer. I'm going for the 4870X2 700 Revolution if I can trade it back to them. Sorry about your luck guys. This thread might be over sooner than I thought. Update again in the morning.

Please read the sales forums rules please. If you have any price concerns, PM the seller, and don't thread crap. Seriously. If you read what the previous posts have said, you'll understand that rebates are not 100% guaranteed. Also, factor in shipping for Newegg, and possibly tax.

Factor in the MIR take around 6 Months or more sometimes. and half the people recently haven't been getting them. I think $415 or so would be even. as it's about $15 give or take to ship that. you get a discount using Paypal's shipping.

Don't bash his thread with links to other places to buy it. Thats just not nice. He's trying to sell something here. Not have his potential business go to newegg. although getting a free amd x2 BE with that link is pretty sweet..
