Thumbs up Palit 4870X2

Up for sale is a Palit 4870X2. Runtime is less than a week. It's an engineering sample from the gamepyre.com website that they received for testing and reviewing purposes. I'm pretty sure it can be loaded with a few different BIOS options available to the 4870X2s, and it maxes everything out in terms of gaming. All in all a good card to own if you're in the market for one. I got P10737 3DMarks on Vantage with my Q6600 at stock speeds. Almost 12000 marks on graphics alone. My asking price is 425 shipped. I'm up for other offers, so don't be afraid to ask. No low balling, please. This card is dollar for dollar one of the top rated, best built cards on the market. And......... go!

BTW, if you want pics, it might take a day to get to it. I currently don't have a WORKING camera, so I'll have to ask a friend for theirs to use for that purpose.

Edit: One last thing: I still have the box and all included items, even the 6-pin to 8-pin adapter for use with older PCI-e compatible PSUs.

Until the 28th, I'll also offer a free copy of FarCry 2 with purchase. Again, I'm open to offers. Palit is a Gainward subsidiary, which means their parts quality are top shelf and built to be overclocked. I won't take lower than 400 for the card, but you pay shipping.

Price changed to 425 shipped. It's practically brand new, people. The 4870X2s are just as powerful, if not, more powerful than even the GTX 285. They beat it out in clock speeds and performance.

You mean the 295 right? the 285 is just a 55nm revision of the GTX280.

You're right. It's more powerful than the 295. Nvidia has to get on their game to compete with ATI. Even CFX 4830s have the 280s in check.

You know what? Screw it. If people are going to criticize my FS thread, I'll take my business elsewhere. If you want a card for 399, then go F-ing buy it on the egg. Quit harassing me about my card! So I want 425 for my card. Yeah, 25 of that is shipping, or have you people forgot I have to spend my own money to ship it as well? So I make 400 off the deal. For Christ's sake, can't I break even for what I bought?

Let me set something straight here: If you purchase a card with a mail-in rebate, it could take up to months to get your check in the mail. Also, I'm pretty sure if you contested the warranty on this card, which is unregistered, you'd win and be able to RMA this card. Another thing, all anyone is worried about is the low, low sales price on a Sapphire 4870X2, which is 449-50MIR=399, THIS ISN'T A SAPPHIRE CARD! If you look at newegg, you'll see that the cards range in price from 560-399, counting a rebate you've got to wait for. My issue with everyone is that you're asking me to discount a card that sells for 529 at the lowest cost for under $380. I've said, time and time again that Palit is an industry leader in graphics cards, and it's already been proven. Google it. I'm not going to go any lower than 425 shipped. I pay for shipping, so I want 400 at a base price for the card, and anything beyond that 400 is what I pay out of expenses for shipping to your door. My apologies if you can't understand business math.
