whats the cooling like on that thermaltake? better than an intel stock heatsink on an E5200? And is that fan changable?

The Big Typhoon is a lot better then stock, and yes you can change the fan on it.

Andy has me covered. It was 2*C hotter than my Xigmatek S1283 with my E2180. I can't say you will be able to replicate those results, but there is no doubt it is a good cooler. I believe before the TRUE it was considered one of the best.
The stock fan is pretty good, moves alot of air and is quiet. But yes, you can change it to any other 120mm fan.

I will sell to anyone provided they pay via paypal (I will take cheques but they must clear first).
The blue-orb is a fairly unremarkable cooler, it doesn't have any heatpipes, so it won't perform as well as a cooler with heatpipes.

The CPU, will it work with an unlapped heatsink? I'm unfamiliar with lapping.

Yes it will be fine with an unlapped HSF. You will obviously get better temps with a lapped heatsink, but only by a few degrees.
EDIT: Those temps were with an unlapped Xigmatek

awesome looking forward to it. gonna put an akasa 120mm UV blue with LED's on it and hook it up to my fan controller. Will check the stock fan though, the reviews say its dam quiet.
