Linux/ Open Source supporter Club
well in light of some news articles going a little off topic and comparing windows to linux and even though i am not the best person to have formed the Linux/ Open Source supporter Club i still thought it would be a good idea to do so.
i think this would be a good place to let every one know if you are a linux user and if you are, and would like to be added to the list please let me know and put what distro you use so i can put that on the list as well. also if you support open source software but still us windows or a mac let me know and i will put you name in a open source supporters category. we can use this to discuss how the linux and open source community has helped the computer world. i would also like to mention that any negative posts towards linux users or towards linux itself will be reported along with any negative posts towards other operating systems. if you have an argument please use a source to justify your opinion. whether it be in favor of linux or windows. if interested join the other clubs being created. there is only one for now. when more are created i will post them here. The Ubuntu resources Slackware Resources/Starting with Slackware most links provided by distrowatch.com User Name / Distro 102 members

How quaint... which is what everyone I know says about my Linux usage. Anyway... I use it for tinkering/learning platform. SuSe/WInXP (VM machine) in one computer, Ubuntu on the laptop. Can't say I am an expert, but I can connect to my wireless network in less than 7 minutes after pressing the on button on a clean install. ANd my NIC is not Linux supported

Kubuntu 7.04 and OpenSuse 10.1 for me. I'm still a heavy Windows user, however, specially now that I'm still on vacation (gaming and all that good stuff). Once I start my classes again it will be back to Linux.

Stick me up there!
The only problem with me is that I use all kinds of linux, depending on my mood. I have literally hundreds of cds and a few dvds of assorted linux. (like assorted peanuts) I like variation!
