Default Need two Linux programs

Ok, the first program I need is one that will talk to my iPod nano and let me charge it. The second is one that I saw another member using, but I forget the name of. It is a program that gives you a 3D interface for changing desktops.

It's only for Ubuntu 6.06 and Suse 10.1, but it's found its way into Gentoo.

you can use XGL in any linux environment.

as for iPods, i use gtkpod. very easy to use interface, i like it better than that itunes stuff.

Yup and with FC5, you could also try Ailgx. It a little different than xgl.
I use banshee and it sees my ipod...

Yes, Xgl\Compiz can be used in any Posix environment.

As for your iPod you can use GTKPod - it uses the GTK librarys which are Gnome based, but you can still use it in KDE if you install the GTK runtimes
