Going Broke Overclocking

Not crashing!
Not getting virus! Not Emptying your wallet! Not having to call in to reload the OS! It has many good aspects as far as software. Just not yet great for gaming Except the few BIG games that are written for it. When set up correctly, linux does not tax the CPU as heavly as say XP.

Better stability and greatly more customizible then Windows, and also faster, and in the server side, longer uptimes.

It's way better for general use than windows to be honest...I used it for email/messaging/message boards for a few months...even music and downloading off BT. But now it's becoming easier and easier to do WHATEVER YOU WANT on it. Give it a try. Download a Live CD and go nuts.

Think of it like this. Windows...on steriods...that isnt unstable. Linux is better at what ever you want it to be better at. It's it's customisability and flexibility that makes it famous in the server world. The code is alot simpler too, so its alot faster. It is also the love child of the open software movement. What more could you want? lol
