I haven't used linux in a while...
here is a cube over a skydome image using beryl a few years back.

Linux was nice but too many people got confused using my computer.

My desktop is an ergonomy experiment, and it works pretty well. It's GNOME+Compiz, lots of panel applets and some cool utils...

Also notice the Change Wallpaper Applet at down left right next to the workspace switcher... My wallpaper changes once every 5 minutes so i never get bored...
There are some winpe on my desktop cause i exchange some tools with friends....
Also, in the left there is another panel, which auto-hides and contains an IP-applet, Network traffic monitor, CPU load for each core and System Monitor data

Sorry XD

Anyway, here's my current desktop: 106 shortcuts but clean as a baby's a$$
The wallpaper changes everytime the machine boots up. 5 minutes is not OK, you eventually end up seeing the same images over and over again after a very short period of time.

That's weird. We set up a single Ubuntu computer in a Windows lab of my university. People who dared try it wrote notes on the machine praising it. It got about 80 different student logins in a week, which was good considering the low use of that particular lab.

If people are informed that the environment may be a little different, Linux does most everything they need it's not a problem.

Edit: No linux screenshot from me this time. I thought I'd just share that story.
