Nice. I got the CD, but I'll hopefully be installing it on a couple of friends' computers. (Yeah I'm converting people... at least I think so).

I have a Gentoo Installation to tweak still... I just don't have time to mess with it yet. I hate how since 2.6.17 bcm43xx wireless drivers are supported, and mine loads the modules (even in edgy eft too) but of course it still doesn't work.

They were supported since the 2.6.15 kernel. It loaded the "correct" module but did not work due to the lack of correct firmware, hence the fwcutter technique; but it also works with ndiswrapper (a little better and more stable also) and it doesn't take much effort to get it going.

Actually it was 2.6.17 - I remember reading it in the changelog and I haven't compiled a kernel before it was released so I'm sure it's that one. However, I just read the current kernel's changelog, and it said there is a serious problem with the bcm43xx support and that there is a patch to fix it. It said that it will be included in the 2.6.19 kernel for sure, but there is a request to retrofit it to the 2.6.18.1 kernel (which I hope they do, so all I have to do is recompile and hopefully my wireless will work).
