New to Overclock.net
|
Well, I'm new to this Linux thing and I'm creating a new partition to put Ubuntu on it. When I want to create a new partition (I'm using Paragon Partition Manager) it asks for the type and these show up:
Linux Ext2 Linus Ext3 ReiserFS Linux Swap2 What are the differences between these? Or should I just stick with NTFS?

NTFS is NOT to be used for Linux.

Yeah, one to install the OS and the other for swap.
ext3 or reiser will do for the OS, the swap is just linuxswap.
