Default Resize an ext3

Is it possible to resize an ext3 partition? I know that you can't do it in Partition Magic 8.0. If so, how do you do it?

Um... i just pop my Ubuntu live cd and use the partitionner on it... you can do anything since you're not using ANY of the partitions.

EDIT: so i guess any linux live CD would be capable of doing it. For free

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

As for a good Live CD for messing with partitions. Try GParted.

Use the Ubuntu installer CD, it has gpartition I think on it. Nearly any Live distro has an installer / partition table editor.

The Ubuntu CD has GPart I believe. GParted has a couple different programs. I could be wrong though too, I don't use Ubuntu.
