Trying to listen to shoutcast streams as well as other live music may be a daunting task for many linux users however it is not as hard as many might think.
Assuming you have XMMS installed simply use the following command. Quote:

I am currently using Ubuntu, however most repositories should have streamtuner etc.. if you need any help let me know.
