Default Linux How To: Listen to shoutcast streams
Trying to listen to shoutcast streams as well as other live music may be a daunting task for many linux users however it is not as hard as many might think.

Assuming you have XMMS installed simply use the following command.

Quote:
apt-get install streamtuner streamripper
This will install Streamtuner, a program that taps into a database of shoutcast stations, as well as streamripper which is an addon to stream tuner. enjoy!

I am currently using Ubuntu, however most repositories should have streamtuner etc.. if you need any help let me know.
