Yeah Cpu-z uses cpuid to get that info, which is why I want to figure out how to use it.

It may have trouble calculating your multi (10x) with your FSB (430Mhz) as you stated before. Try doing a slight overclock and see what it displays. Maybe set your FSB to ~400 and 8x multi.

im mutli is 8x430.. but i think the stock or default multi for my chip is 10 .. and the program is not detecting the actual setting and just going with the default setting times the bus speed.. like ive stated if i lower the oc it picks it up just fine.. all well.. no biggie i guess.. i do know what speed i am running at ..

Nice. CPU detection works perfectly for me, but none of my Linux PCs are overclocked. Only problem is it doesn't detect the IGPs on my laptops.

Working on a new Deb installer for PerlMon 0.13RC1.... I can't figure out why KDE's Adept goes wonky when you purge... I pretty much feel it's Adept and not the Deb... I'm working on an install log to see it that may be a cure... Testing on all of the latest Debian distros I can find...
