Default Bootig Vista and Slackware

After I installed slackware i let lilo configure itself. I choose to install the in the root linux drive as the option once lilo configures itself. After i rebooted after setup it loads linux fine but it will not load windows. It just says error bootmngr missing. Anyone know how to fix this.

You can try this,
Download grub for slackware here.

Save it somewhere like /opt/packages
(*NOTE: you'll have to make the packages/ directory, to do that in the terminal just type, su -c mkdir /opt/packages)

then in the terminal login as root, su root, then type: installpkg /opt/packages/grub*.tgz

then type: grubconfig

that will then configure grub, it'll be much like when you installed lilo.

Then reboot and see if grub works, letting you boot into Vista.
If not then at least it'll be much easy to help you edit /boot/grub/menu.lst to get Windows to boot. Editing Lilo is a pain.
