Using Fedora 7 I play enemy territory, and nexuiz and occasionally neverball, and cs 1.6 in wine. oh I use grub

it crashes quite a lot, im doing a fresh reinstall now see if that fixes anything

Have you ever debugged it? Launch it using the terminal and maybe you can see where/why it crashes.
