If you add it, count me in. I'm running Linux Mint Cassandra (equivalent of Ubuntu 7.04) with the black desktop theme from Ubuntu Studio and compiz-fusion. In some ways, Mint is even easier to use than Ubuntu...it mounts NTFS partitions in read/write mode by default, it is updated more frequently than Ubuntu, and it has a nice list of default programs, some of which were written specifically for Mint.

Guys, any reason why if I set limewire to not use its built in player, it doesn't launch the player in ubuntu, it just gives an error and doesn't launch the music?

what error does it give?

Edit: if you want to add guides, may I suggest this one on compiz-fusion / emerald? It's fantastic, and i know you guys didn't drop 300+ on video cards to use metcity.
