That's pretty cool. Makes me feel like my sig rig was a waste of money when I coulda got a PS3

Well... Are you asking us for help? Cuz I don't know how to fix it!

I'm assuming every PS3 has the same hardware, so have you checked this out with other PS3+Ubuntu users? Someone ought to have had the same problem before.

Btw, how is this running? Is it good? Does it run like a normal PC? Fast? Etc.

It's running good. It boots in no time, however I don't got internet because it doesn't work (gah). Also the screen is 512x384 (well something like this) so everything is very big due to my connection -> SDTV. Also you got to know that there is no Video card drivers YET. no 3d works but it will soon after they get drivers

Hi, I got the pleasure of installing Ubuntu on my friends PS3. Like you his resolution is horrible. He ended up not using it cause of the bad resolution, and the fact that it was slow, laggy, and java sucked. The resolution makes it impossible to complete forms and stuff. I wouldn't recommend keeping it, but it is a fun experience .

Back on Topic:
Me and my friend had the same problem, and here is the fix we found. It worked great.

btw, that psubuntu is the best site to go to when you need help. (we also got java working from them)
