no, just download the gparted livecd (about 50mb) and it is a linux distro on cd with gprated (parted is short fro gnome partition editor)

gparted does everything you can do with the commandline fdisk command, but with a graphical interface.

yeah, no problem. When you get working with linux, learn howto use the command line and what each command does. It will greatly help you and then remember that google is your firend
