OK so if you run vmware with a linux install does it matter if its on raided disk's or not. Wasnt sure if it still didnt play nice with linux or if it would work around this since its in a virtual machine.

Should work fine most of the time the linux os is in your ram and not reading from the hd when you use vmware.
