Gauvenator

I've installed the nvidia driver and it's working fine, but my display is fuzzy (especially noticable on text). In the past (with other distros) I've been able to fix it by playing around with nvidia-settings, but this time it doesn't seem to be helping.

Arch64 with Xfce4, 169.12 nVidia driver.

How can I fix this? I'm sure it's something with the xorg.conf, but not sure what..

If you have nVidia drivers, use nvidia-xconfig. It should write you a new xorg.conf file.

Back up your xorg.conf first.

Yay!! I did nvidia-xconfig, and then in nvidia-settings I did "reset hardware defaults" along with 1680x1050 in 60hz (2) and now the display is sooo much better.
