Anyways, threads like these should really be stickies. I already made a few similar threads for the ATI drivers and they get very little hits. As for guides, you may want to stick in the bug tracker for fglrx and Phoronix, just as off hand help resources.
When ATI decided to make decent linux drivers, they really did decide to make up for lost time.

And if you guys want anything stickied or added to FAQs or something like that gimmie a shout. Unfortunately I don't have as much time to read in-depth in most threads like I used to so cries for sticky-dom and other such administrative stuff probably go unnoticed.

I'm really going to try and go back to that role of "forum director" rather than just "moderator".

Minor updates with links to the latest drivers, some workaround scripts for problems with ATI Cards and compiz whilst watching Video or playing games, and a Link to Melcars FGLRX lookout thread.

I would hate to think this has been forgotten about.

Any helpful links or info will be added.

I would suggest the Compiz fusion icon instead of the two script workaround for screen flicker for ATI cards. You can switch window managers from it, open the compiz settings, etc. I use it quite a bit.
