help, which one do i download from arch.org

i have the core 64 bit, but did i want the ftp installer instead?

im so confused with arch, but i want to get in there too.

well im not having a lot of luck with arch at the moment, ill start my own thread to ask for advice a bit later after i have tried a few things, basicly i get error 17 in grub when i try to boot into any OS, even windows which is on a separate drive, but if i understand correctly grup sits in windows' boot partition anyway which is why grub loads up when i select windows to boot and asks me what i want to do. This has happened before to me, but i think arch has got something to do with it. Still, i will persever because i want to try it out, can't learn new things without trying.

In the mean time ubuntu on my laptop is serving me well, just need to figure out how to delete windows from it all together (horray).

It's been suggested, unfortunately many people listed 2 or more distros that they have used or use constantly. Everyone would have to post back which distro they are the best at, or use most. It would be a hassle.

oh god i just tried to uninstall something in windows using synaptic, took me a while to realise too. LOL.

*Facepalm*

Edit: Can someone tell how to uninstall ubuntu or is it really complicated? I put it on my laptop which i am swapping for a different one, i want to uninstall it from that before it goes.

Of course i will be putting Ubuntu/Arch on my new one depending on how well i get on with arch after i try it on my desktop pc for a while. It was too scary to install it on my laptop, but i have a new HDD on the way which will suit a new distro nicely.
