Title? ANYONE? Everytime i use GParted to delete them, it messes up the bootloader thus rendering windows useless, and if i try to "FIXMBR" it works, but kills the windows partition. I tried putting ubuntu on my cousin's laptop, and the wireless isn't compatible with it, it's atheros, so he wants me to take it off, but i can't until i find out how to do this properly. He doesn't want to lose anything under windows.

You should be able to just do fixmbr or fixboot... Then you'll need a utility to format the Linux partition and recombine it.
Why did you go ahead and install Ubuntu if the wireless didn't work? It's a live disk for a reason.

Boot loaders like GRUB and Lilo don't have to be tied to a linux install. You could use one of those with windows (you may need a small boot partition - I'm not sure).
I've never had fixboot/fixmbr kill a windows partition - are you sure that it does for you?

1) Atheros chipsets are actually well supported under linux with madwifi - http://madwifi.org/
2) Have you tried using the super grub disk? - http://www.supergrubdisk.org/
